The Gallery Armature?

This is a section of a speech which was dictated by myself the artist, unto a gathering of interpretants, whilst standing inside my self-made 'gallery':

'The gallery is an armature, a framework, a correspondent for displaying information. It is the grid-like anchorage that holds, stands and represents a multitude of facts, fictions, opinions and ordeals.

The galleries disposition, its ability to personify itself with the fashions of art, and dictate its acceptance with the items that it upholds, shows us that a Gallery, as an Infrastructure is durable, stark and uncompromising. It stands with all the abilities to create vast spectacles for you, the interpretants to witness, hear and see.

It is this armature, this free-holding structure, that grips so slyly, in that its strength supports the work, and its presence drifts into unknown quantities of silence and disguise.

This viewing pedestal, is gifted unto you today, and I would like to thank you all, for attending….. ‘THE GALLERY OPENING’
